Minister Ordination - Class I Home >> Churches >> Ordination >> Class1 Dove Ministries International calls Class I ministers "ordained" ministers. An ordained minister is one who has been set aside and consecrated by the laying on of hands of the presbytery in a public ceremony. Ordained ministers have a divine call on their lives that is recognized by Dove Ministries International. They are called to do the work of full-time preaching and teaching in one of the five-fold offices of The Church: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, or Teacher. Ordained ministers will be recognized as professional clergy engaged in ecclesiastical work. Requirements for Ordination of Class I Ministers
Policies for Withdrawal or Dismissal of Class I Ordination
It is not the heart of Dove Ministries International to take any unnecessary action before first, seeking the counsel of God, and second, going over any evidence and speaking to the person with whom a concern has been voiced. That is why a two week waiting period will be imposed before any final decision will be made. It will always be our first priority to assist the minister in maintaining his relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and remaining in good standing with Dove Ministries International. Any unfounded complaints brought before Dove Ministries International will not be given any consideration nor will any unrighteous plot of thoe wsho at any time may want to discredit a godly minister. We desire only to safeguard the Gospel and the good reputation of both the minister and Dove Ministries International. Prior to any decision, the minister will be asked to have a personal interview with both the president and vice-president of Dove Ministries International. At that time all evidence and concerns will be discussed. At that time, the minister will also have an opportunity to show forth his position. A two week waiting period will be taken by Dove Ministries International officers. Their written decision will be sent to the minister by certified mail at the end of those two weeks. Other members of Dove Ministries International will also be given written notice if a dismissal has taken place, thereby safeguarding against the possibility of any unfounded gossip or error.
